Professor Wilson Lu, Mr. Liupengfei Wu, and Dr Tan Tan visited the Swiss National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) Digital Fabrication (DFAB) at ETH and DFAB House on 28 April 2023 in Switzerland .

The Digital Fabrication, initiated in 2014, aims to revolutionise architecture through the seamless combination of digital technologies and physical building processes (https://dfab.ch/#).

DFAB House is a collaborative demonstrator of the Swiss NCCR) Digital Fabrication on the NEST building of Empa and Eawag (https://dfabhouse.ch/dfab-house/).

The trip is conducted in connection with the team’s efforts for the 48th International Exhibition of Inventions in  Geneva, Switzerland from 26 April to 30, 2023. We won a Bronze Medal.

The trip was greatly facilitated by Dr Tan Tan, who was formerly Research Assistant in the iLab and now is Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF) at TU Delft after obtained his Doctoral Degree from UCL, UK recently.
