I won the Outstanding Young Researcher Award (OYRA) 2014-2015

The OYRA is award made by the University Research Committee (URC) at HKU to give recognition to young researchers, respectively, for their extremely outstanding accomplishments in research. The highly-coveted award is only made to researchers of distinction, and only after careful scrutiny and assessment of all nominations by a special Sub-Committee of the URC. The Sub-Committee bases its assessment on documented evidence of international recognition of research accomplishments, the quality and quantity of research publications, the ability to attract research grants (taking into account the prestige of the funding bodies and the size of the grants awarded), and high-impact applied research work.
